Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Trading Signal AI handles information when you visit the public site, create an account, use the signal engine, subscribe to Premium, or use AI chat.

Effective date:

1. Overview and operator

Trading Signal AI operates this website and application. In this policy, “Trading Signal AI,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Trading Signal AI operator. This policy describes the information handling practices reflected in the current application and integrations. It is not a promise that every feature, provider, or integration will always be enabled.

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to privacy@tradingsignalai.app.

2. Information we collect

Account and security information

When you register or maintain an account, we collect the name, email address, username, password hash, and state, province, or region that you provide. We also maintain account and plan status, email-verification and password-reset security records, and related account timestamps. We do not need to store your plain-text password; the application stores a password hash.

Portfolio, preferences, and service activity

To provide scans and account features, we process holdings information such as ticker, share count, and cost basis; available cash; scan timing or DTE settings; notification preferences; custom symbol additions and exclusions; and scans, results, rankings, warnings, and history associated with your account. You can also choose browser push notifications. If you enable them, the app receives the push subscription endpoint and keys needed to deliver notifications, along with the browser user-agent when available.

Billing and subscription information

Our payment processor handles checkout and billing. Trading Signal AI stores customer and subscription identifiers, plan, trial, and subscription status, and related billing events needed to provide the account and reconcile access. The payment processor, rather than Trading Signal AI, handles payment details such as full card numbers. We do not store full payment card numbers in the application.

Usage, device, and security information

Depending on the request and configuration, the application, hosting environment, and service providers may process usage events, page or feature activity, timestamps, IP address, browser or device information, user-agent, session identifiers, and security or rate-limiting records. These records help operate the service, protect accounts, troubleshoot problems, and measure use. They may not be created for every visit or retained by every provider in the same way.

When you are signed in, a short-lived timestamp is recorded in your authenticated session only after recent interaction with a visible application page. Authorized administrators can use this timestamp to see whether an account was active within roughly the last 90 seconds; background refreshes, geolocation, and sensitive activity monitoring are not used for this indicator.

Campaign and attribution information

The application can capture campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content, as well as Meta attribution values such as _fbp and _fbc when present. Some first-touch attribution is held in browser storage and may be sent with signup or billing events.

Information we do not currently obtain from Facebook

Trading Signal AI does not currently implement Facebook login or Facebook data import. We do not ask Facebook for, or claim access to, your friends lists, posts, or photos.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above for purposes such as:

  • providing ranked scans, account access, portfolio tools, preferences, notifications, and related service features;
  • authenticating users, verifying email addresses, resetting passwords, preventing abuse, and protecting service security;
  • creating, managing, and reconciling subscriptions, trials, billing status, and access to Premium features;
  • sending transactional account, security, billing, support, and (where enabled) scan-notification emails;
  • responding to support questions and operating, troubleshooting, and improving the application;
  • processing AI chat messages and relevant context to produce requested responses; and
  • understanding visits, registrations, subscriptions, campaign performance, and advertising conversions when the applicable measurement tools are configured.

4. Cookies, browser storage, and measurement

The service uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie for authentication. The session is stored by the application server and identified in the browser by a secure, SameSite session cookie. Browser cookies or storage may also keep interface preferences, such as sidebar state, theme or setup progress, and first-touch campaign attribution. Push notifications use the browser’s permission and service-worker mechanisms.

When configured with the relevant identifiers, the application loads Google Analytics and Meta Pixel and may send server-side conversion events to Meta. These tools can measure page visits, registrations, paid subscriptions, campaign attribution, and device or browser identifiers. Meta may receive attribution or device identifiers and hashed account identifiers for ad measurement. Hashed identifiers remain personal data; hashing does not make them anonymous.

Trading Signal AI does not currently present a cookie-consent banner or a separate analytics or advertising opt-in control. This policy therefore does not represent that tracking is opt-in. You can adjust cookie and browser-storage settings, block scripts, and review the opt-out controls offered by Google or Meta. Those controls depend on the provider, may not stop every form of measurement, and blocking cookies or scripts can affect sign-in, preferences, or service functionality.

5. Sharing and service providers

We share or make information available to providers when that is needed to operate the current service, process a requested transaction, send communications, provide support, measure activity, or protect the service. These recipients include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that operate the application and store service data;
  • Payment processors that handle checkout, billing, subscriptions, and payments;
  • Email delivery providers that send transactional account, security, billing, and service emails;
  • AI service providers that process messages and relevant context to generate chat responses;
  • Google for Google Analytics when configured; and
  • Meta for Meta Pixel and server-side conversion measurement when configured.

Provider processing is also governed by the provider’s own terms and privacy practices. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to respond to legal process, enforce security or account rules, investigate abuse, or protect users, the service, or other people. We do not make a broad promise that we never sell or share data; this policy describes the current app-related sharing and measurement practices we have identified.

6. AI chat

Public chat is available without signing in. Public messages and the recent conversation context needed to answer them are sent to the AI service, but public chat is not saved as account-linked application history. The chat shown in the browser can disappear when the page or session is reloaded. “Not saved as account-linked history” does not mean that the AI provider or infrastructure has no logs or retention; we do not promise zero retention by these providers.

Premium chat is saved to your account as conversations and messages. To answer Premium questions, the application can send the AI service provider your message and relevant account context, including portfolio settings, holdings, recent scan status, and selected ranked candidates. Authorized Trading Signal AI administrators can access Premium conversations for support and service operations.

AI responses are educational and informational, not investment advice or a guarantee of any outcome. Do not place sensitive information in a chat message unless it is necessary for the question.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You can manage holdings, cash and scan settings, custom symbol preferences, and notification choices in the application. You can also turn push notifications off in Portfolio and manage the browser’s notification permission. These controls change the related feature; they do not automatically delete other account or billing records.

To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, email privacy@tradingsignalai.app. Please identify the account (for example, the account email or username), describe the request, and be prepared for reasonable identity verification. There is no claim that an automated in-app deletion flow is available.

An account-deletion request is separate from subscription cancellation. To cancel a subscription, use the subscription controls on the Billing page; the application sends the cancellation request to the payment processor according to the subscription’s terms. Canceling billing does not by itself delete the account or all information. We may retain information needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, accounting, or billing purposes, and may decline or limit a request where an exception applies.

8. Retention, security, and international processing

We retain information as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing accounts and subscriptions, security and abuse prevention, customer support, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Backups and provider systems may retain copies until their ordinary replacement or deletion processes run. We do not state a fixed retention period here, and retention can differ by data type, purpose, provider, and legal or operational need.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information, including secure session handling and access controls. No method of transmission, storage, or security control is absolute, so we cannot promise that information will always be completely secure.

Trading Signal AI and its providers may process information in countries or regions different from yours. Where appropriate, we may use contractual or other safeguards for international transfers, but this is not a guarantee of any particular legal compliance result or protection in every location.

9. Age, updates, and contact

The service is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children. If you believe a person under 18 provided information, contact us at privacy@tradingsignalai.app.

We may update this policy as the application or its providers change. We will post the revised policy here with a new effective date. Please review it periodically so you know how current features and integrations handle information.
